    Seby,

I only had the DVD player and speakers hooked up and after what another member told me, it seems the speaker cables themselves may have been the problem although not sure. They were a little hard to get in due to the tight space so I picked up some banana plugs yesterday and am going to go that route. I knew of them (from this site) but just assumed they had to be put together by a professional. Much easier that I ever expected!

Sounds like you may have had a little short circuiting going on... ;) Gotta watch those loose strands. And FYI, a Denon would not have liked that either.

Sounds like the Store Manager served you well... sometimes it pays to pay a little brick and motar premium...

Good luck the rest of the way...
    More later,
