Hi, I would like to know if I can I use an APC Line-R 1200VA (1200 Watts continous ) Automatic Voltage Regulator with Yamaha Reciever ?
The receiver outputs 350W, but my main question is that the APC regulator says: Maximum Line Current per phase 10A, I have a Yamaha receiver HTR-5850. Is it ok to use the APC regulator ?
Thanks!!

Thanks for your answer, bknauss, I forgot to mention that receiver uses High Current Amplification,

Is it safe to use it with Line Regulator 10A Capacity ?
Thanks!! -
Acording to you owners manual, the Yamaha draws a max of 350watts, which is 2.91A. It will be fine.
Should hardly even stress that APC. -

Its probably a 50-60% efficient receiver, so its probably actually sucking in 700W or around there. Still, nothing to stress the APC at all. To find out what it really draws, at the power cord there should be a wattage rating or max current draw marking.Brian Knauss

Don't believe everything you read. This industry is based on numbers being better than the other, and it's mostly BS. As these Polkies stated, you're AOK.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

There will be no problem with a 10A supply to your receiver.
