    Hey, thanks Micah.

    My aunt and uncle have had a Chevy Avalanche for a few months now and they are really enjoying it. If they didn't have six kids to raise, I'm pretty sure they could have sprung for the Cadillac. :p

    I hate the Avalanche, and Cadillac bought into it too.

    Yep, that one is pretty bad. The yellow makes it even worse

    awwww!! it's burning my retinas!

    Those Mazda MP3 and MP5s are pretty kewl though. But they look too much like my car (WRX Wagon) and are very underpowered.

    I hate them! I drove one for about a week back in January and was glad to give it back! Always felt like it was going to tip over.

    Give me a low riding sports car any day of the week over one of those annoying things!

    I drive a GMS 3/4 ton Suburban and LOVE it. Big engine big body, just pull out in front of me I dare ya, sheer weight will win everytime. I do really like the seating capacity, we are the taxi of the family. Oh BTW I do NEED this big sucker to pull our camper.

    I am not a fan of alot of those mid-size SUV's.

    Speaking of big trucks, if they are truely serving a purpose, I'm fine with it. But I can't stand seeing the 30 something female, that doesn't weigh a buck-and-a-quarter soaking wet, tooling around in a 7000lb, 300+horse truck....

    A little overkill for her and her shopping bags, am I wrong?

    I cancelled my C&D subscription last year, after receiving the magazine almost continuously since about 1987. There just aren't that many interesting CARS around any more that cost less than $100K.

    Phillips' writing is almost always hilarious. Thanks for sharing that!

    9yrs ago wend i moved here to vegas from calif. me and my wife got lucky and got a one bedroom condo with $5,000 and take over assumble va loan of $42,000 for a total of $47,000 with $373.oo a mo. payment. its small but i fix it up nice, i tiled every thing put marble fireplace. i pt a lot into it. so its realy is cheaper than the cad truck, and nicer to.

    that is one of the ugliest vehicles i've ever seen....i bet it makes the road toss gravel....one thing i've seen on new cars that i dont like are the back lights on em....lloook UGLY! LOL

    GM sucks and it always will until eventually the rich are the only survivors and the white trash are stricken to the land of Hades where they will burn inside of their official NASCAR clothing. At this point the failed experiment named General Motors will cease to have a consumer base and the products of their "engineering" will go straight to junkyards, skipping the usual 10-15 year tour of duty at the local trailer park. The time is now. PEOPLE WITH TASTE REVOLT!!

    If they keep producing crap like those mentioned above they won't be, and a lot of people will not be working. For that reason only I hope that someone can turn GM around and point it in the right direction. Hey maybe they will be the first to build a practical fuel cell car. In my mind that would make up for all the ugly crap they have come out with recently.
