Hello, I noticed NHT is coming out with the classic line and was interested in the classic 3's. I already own lsi 9's, and despite their inability to reproduce low bass they are really smooth and detailed, so in other words I enjoy them. Has anybody heard the NHT classic 3's yet and how does the NHT house sound differ from the lsi's ? I don't know if this matters much but one lsi 9 weighs as much as a pair of classic 3's. I was told by a fellow on ecoustics that the NHTs would be smoother but I really don't know how much smoother you can get over the lsi's ring tweeter that is one of it's strenths. Ideally and ultimately it would be best to get a pair of classic 3's and hook them up in my system, however I was hoping to gain some insight from fellow polkies and their experience. I would appreicate any feedback, I really don't need new speakers it is just seeing something new and .... well most of you know what I am saying....
The greatest enemy of truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived and dishonest - but the myth - persistent, persuasive and unrealistic.

Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

    Bingo!

Very few, if any, have even heard the Threes yet since the very first ones are just now only starting to trickle in to dealers.

I can tell you this much though, the SB3 was/is a highly regarded bookie in it's price range, and IMO the newer Classic Two model is an overall better speaker.
