Long distant exchanges are always more difficult. Speaking of that, A guy in Sioux City, IA has quoted me $504 shipping for an Earthquake 5Ch amp. He says UPS is the only method they have there. Is this possible. I live in remote Canada and have multiple shipping methods for large and heavy items.
Anyone live in that area?
Never bring anything over the border via UPS. They just kill us Canadians. If I want to buy something from an American company and they will only ship UPS it is a total deal killer for me.

Although i meant no insult..i did figure i'd get a response...i guess maybe i spoke out of turn...where i'm from in Sask Canada we are still a little old school. I think we've had one murder in the past two years and crime in general is very low. I have done bank account to bank account tranfers before and have not thought twice about it. I had a guy come to buy something from me and i wasn't home so the wife took a cheque from him and sent him on his merry way...neither he or i gave this transaction a second thought. This being said...all i meant was maybe the request that this dude made was suspicious but if he was just a simple folk like myself then possibly in his mind this was not unreasonable...i guess i'll get burned once myself and then i'll know what to watch out for huh?Onkyo TX NR 5008 modified by The Upgrade Company

100lbs, yep that rules out the USPS, still $500.00 is crazy money to ship the amp.Political Correctness'.........defined

there must be another way for the payment transaction to take place... other than that.
It's on every check you write. It's meaningless unless they steal your I.D., look like you, copy your signature, and the employees at your bank are as dumb as a box of rocks. Even then you can dispute any and all transactions.
