speaker recommendations

Hey guys I know I post a lot of threads and I'm always changing my mind about speakers, but what really is the best pound for pound speaker out there? Keeping all 7 speakers the same and everything, and cost not an issue.

(Receiver) Onkyo TX-SR503
(Front Speakers) Polk Audio Monitor 40
(Center Channel) Polk Audio CS 1
(Surround) Paradigm Cinema ADP [Dipole] (On top of Polk Audio Monitor 40)
(Subs) Pioneer CS-G9001 (Bi-wired with Fronts subwoofers only working layed down up against back of couch)
Monster Fiber Optic Cable (DVD Player to Receiver), Monster speaker wire

    Only your ears can determine what's best. You can figure this out by trial and error. Usually the best way to determine what's best is by placing the speakers in your listening room and listening.

    Listen, I know y'all really hate THX but I'm telling you what I have THX fiber optic cables and I'm telling you what I really love them it just makes me wonder about THX speakers and THX processors and amps and receivers.

    Well I'm 22 years old and have been messing with home stereo for about 6 or 7 months now. But just cuz I'm young doesn't mean I don't know. I don't know much about Home Theater but I do have a very keen ear for what sounds clear, what sounds muddy, etc. from fine tuning top of the line Alpine, Kicker, MTX, Rockford Fosgate and Polk Audio car stereo's. I know what I want in a home theater I just don't know the Home Theater game.

    My advice to your endless barrage of fishing type posts:

    Stop asking what we think, stop reading internet claims and reviews and go listen to as many different systems and you can until you find something you really like, then come back here and tell us what it was and why you liked it.

    Or better yet, tell us why you are so unhappy with the nice setup you show in your signature? I'll bet you can't. You've got a serious case of the "gotta have something betters", that will never be solved until you start enjoying what you have at this moment. Good systems are meant to be listened to and enjoyed not bragged about on forums.

    I really have a problem with "cost is not as issue" questions when it truely is an issue. No slam on you, I'm just tired of bench racing your dream systems...................
