He's not bad, really good for his age...

He actually screws up a few times during that video, and alot of the stuff that he does is actually fairly simple, but it still sounds cool.

I'm with Mac, I'd like to see how good he is in 10 years. if he sticks with it, he'll be one of the good players around.

There's another video with a kid, maybe a little older, playing with a band at what looks to be some kind of talent show that someone posted on here a while back, I'll see if I can dig it up and post it here also.

Damn, not bad at all for someone his age.

It's crazy. My brothers are both extremely good musicians. My oldest has about 15 years of bass guitar under his belt and my other brother has about 15 years of drumming under his. Now, we have a friend John who is absolutely disgusting on guitar. I'm talking Eddie Van Halen/Steve Vai good. When we all get together to jam, which is about twice a month, it's not even funny. He's so advanced my brothers have a hard time keeping up with him and sounding decent. Most times we'll be jamming and we'll all stop playing because we're laughing so hard because he's so sick. He'll just sit there, smiling, and won't stop shredding on the guitar. Man, to have that kind of talent...

Back in the late 80's-early 90's when I was all into playing in bands, I hooked up with this unreal guitarist. I mean he could do anything and he wrote some of the greatest songs ever! I was all about some coat tails!

Well it didnt last too long as he was a big time pot head and if he wasnt missing rehearsals, he was showing up for them about the time we were all ready to leave. But it didnt matter really because his guitar was usually in the pawn shop.

    Talk about a waste!

    Impressive...

But not "amazing" - I was talking to this 14 year old kid and his Dad the other day...

While this kid played Dream Theater quality riffs - all while talking to me. This 14 year old kid could absolutely rip the guitar to shreds and laugh about it. Amazing muscian. You will hear about him one day, simple as that - the only thing that holds him back now is his age.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

There is just no measure for how wrong that statement is.
