Wow. That's a pretty bad track record with your Chrysler, if you ask me. The dash lights and tail lights started working intermittently on our previous Chrysler Town & Country before we got rid of it, but besides that we haven't had an real troubles with them.
I agree, but wanted to give a decent breakdown. Right now it appears that it will run forever but with less options than it was purchased with (including basics like windows that work). We would have purchased a replacement with all the problems we have with it, but right now - money needs to be dedicated to other things than cars (or unfortunately audio :( ).

We have the 2005 Sienna for a little over 1 yr. No problem whatsoever. It's very comfortable, but due to the softness of the suspension -- it can be a little floaty at speed past 75mph. The Odyssey has a less comfortable ride, but it handles better at high speed. I resisted getting a minivan for years, but the Mrs. decided that's what she wanted. At the time of purchase, Honda wanted MSRP for the Odyssey, and the Toyota dealer that I dealt with was giving $3000 off MRSP (which was about $450 over invoice) and 2.9% financing, . We went w/the Sienna due to the price, and the middle seat in the 2nd row (of the 8 seaters) can accommodate a child carseat (Oddysey can't).

We bought the 1999 Sienna new. It now has 73,000 miles. We have no problem with it. The only costs were 4 new tires at 45,000 miles and oil changes. One of the main reasons that we bought it is because it drives like a car rather than a truck.

I'm a Dodge FAN, but I wouldn't own their mini-van(s) either. Every SINGLE family member/friend I've known that had one, had transmission failures---EVERY ONE OF THEM. My son's Caravan TWICE.

That's all the reason I need, that and the crap Dodge gave them over making it right again. No thanks.

I was the proud owner of one of the fabulous "peeling Neons." I went to the forums, talked to the dealer, talked to the lawyer, etc. Then I just traded the POS in, peeling paint and all----on a Suzuki Forenza. Suzuki gave me more than a fair trade-in.

RUN...RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN...DON'T LOOK BACK, JUST RUN.....LOL

We've had three Dodge/Chrysler minivans, and none of them had any transmission problems.

Well, if you count my son twice, we've had 5 transmission failures. I win. LOL
