Signature Reference vs DB Series

Polk Audio only makes 6 1/2" component's for the Signature Reference. I'm thinking about getting them for my 2000 Monte Carlo. Would it be a terrible difference if I would get MOMO 6"x9"s? Or if I would do Signature Reference 6 1/2" components in the front and the back would a Polk MOMO 2 channel amp pushing 200 watts per channel be able to power them properly.
I've read reviews and Polk's saying it's like having LSi home speakers in your car. First of all I was thinking about doing all DB series cause I've heard they're 6"x9"s and I think they sound really good. What would you all recommend me do?
You've probably seen me on several posts obsessing about Home Theater. Well I've finally came to a conclusion what I want and I'm just gonna build it piece-by-piece one-at-a-time.

Welcome p_a_lsi,
You will get more responses if you post this in the car audio forums.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul! -
