I put this game away for a long time, but I got it out again when I was going through all my games to get stuff ready to sell. Anyhoo, on with my point...
I've always been good with racing games...or so I thought. It was the dickens for me to get my b license. Probablly took me about 15-30 minutes to get something like gold, gold, silver, silver, silver, bronze, bronze, bronze (can't remember how many there are). Anyhoo, I narrowed my choices for a car down to a Miata and a PT Cruiser. I had had both of those before, and I much preferred the PT Cruiser, so that's what I got this time around. Obviously, given how 'easily' I got the license, I'm not looking to beat GT3, but I am having fun with it and would like to do reasonably well with it.
So far I've bought and installed a Sports Suspension, Mufler/Semi-racing, Sports Computer, Flywheel/Semi-racing, Stage 1 lightening, and some awesome looking wheels. That's gotten me up to 173HP. I don't know what I should get next.
Should I worry with sports brakes, NA tune-up, port & polish, clutch, transmission, limited-slip, turbo, or worry with making it still lighter? I'm wanting to do most of the above anyways, I'm just looking for the best order in which to implement them. Any ideas?
And, should I go with tuning/balancing/etc. the engine or go forced-induction?
Thanks! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. Is there any way I can take a 'screen shot' of my car and post it on here? Or is there even a way for me to post replays and stuff online or play them back on the computer? That'd be pretty cool.
Thanks!

i personally like to think i have a good feel for shifting and the right racing line, so i usually go with lightening, brakes, suspension, tranny, etc. before going for sheer power... of course, you'll hit a point where the upgrade simply isn't cost-effective (like a full-racing tranny on a civic), and that's when i bail and get a better car...
i don't recall the licences being that difficult, though... now, gt4, some of those i thought were pretty rough...It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon

Really? I thought it was harder to get licences in GT3 than GT4. I just didnt enjoy GT3 that much. I played GT2 TO DEATH and GT3 just didn't do it for me. GT4 however is awesome and I highly suggest buying that game.

nesticle - have you compared gt4 to forza motorsport? It's not good, very fundamentally simply not good. - geolemon
