I am looking for a distribution block so I can run common power and ground lines for my speaker and sub amps. Anyone have any good recommendations? Also, is a fused blocked needed and why (given my power lines are already fused). Thanks.

Fused distributions not needed as you have fuses on both your amp and lines.

    Here is a link:
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMaster.cfm?Category=Distribution%20/%20Fuse%20Blocks

The good thing is that with some of their blocks, if it's a fused one, they will throw the fuse for free.

Hey Mac, this also includes the ANL fuses :D.

Agreed. Ya dont need a fused dist block unless youre just wanting that extra layer of protection.

As for which brand, it doesnt matter. Tsunami, Streetwires, Stinger and the rest all make good ones. Get the ony that looks best and is most within your budget.

I am a Knukonceptz fan now. Very nice products at very nice prices.

The speaker wire I just bought seems a lot better than either the Streetwire or Monster stuff I had in my car.

the only monster wire i had was the crappiest speaker wire ive ever dealt with. The insulation was HORRIBLE. Very difficult to work with. Ill take knukonceptz anyday. But my power wire for my "up and coming" set up will be from fosgate...but only because its 2/0 and i get employee accomadations:D

That is a crazy markup. My friend would tell me that some of their biggest mark up were on car audio. Why can't they be nicer to us car people :D.

Yea, its a very high markup. We charge cost x 1.667 and thats the minimum we sell it at. Depending on the product (and the person) it goes up from there. Dont be pissy to sales people...lol

Thats really not all that much. 67% markup is about par for retail stuff.

well thats also the minimum we do it at. Thats for customers that have spent a lot with us before and good friends of the ppl that work there. For example, we sell kicker comp 10s for $89, cost on them is $38. Thats 130% markup

The Dynamat Exteme door kit I got was $29 dollars. Normally it goes for around $90 dollars. People have to make their money though....

Man I miss my buddy working at the audio shop :(. I miss not having him around even more though.
