hehe... props to the cops for taking a possible bomb threat seriously despite possible repercussions, but that sucks for the minivan owner...

dude... you should have seen this minivan in Hawai'i... it was like someone stripped a riced-out Civic and stuck it all on a Honda Odyssey... freaking hilarious (it was lowered, had a ricer wing on the roof, a 4-inch **** pipe, a rattling licence plate, etc. etc.)...

If that is "cool" then I will stay uncool :D. It cracks me up to see these cars around here with the only "mod" being a **** can :D. Oh, and also a few stickers. The stickers alone must add about 15 ponies to the wheels :). I use to love to come up on someone like that when I had my Jim Wolf Technology intake and just go WOT on them. I would do this on the freeway on ramps, and they would kind of settle down :D. I only have a V-6, but that filter made if sound like a big ole V-8 with attitude. I took it off because it was just too loud for my taste, but ricey was definately not the sound it made :D.

Or at least clean up your wiring so it doesn't look like a bomb :D

And, if the car was parked, why would the voltage display be changing?

Maybe the cap was new, and so he left a CD playin' so the new electronics could be 'burning in'.

if theres not a seperate "remote wire" on the cap, it just gets power straight from the battery to be displaying voltage. When you turn off the car, the battery is still 'on'

i suppose that could lead to the numbers slowly ticking down, which would look pretty ominous...

voltage drain off a led is very, very miniscule. It would probably take 10 years for a display like that to drain a car battery...that was a guess, but im too lazy to figure out the actual calculation...plus i forgot that stuff last semester...
