Is it adult friendly, or more geared towards kids. Might but it sight-unseen, but have my doubts.

I would not consider it a "kid's" movie. The effects are great, especially the "quitage" game. It's definately a different kind of movie.

I'm pretty sure that COMPUSA is selling the DVD for just under 10 bucks, today and tomorrow only!

While I usually spring for any new releases that are under $16 or so, I probably won't be picking this one up.

Josh it is spelled "quidditch" not trying to be an ****, I had to look in the book to see how it is spelled.

Looking forward to watching the movie. Can't wait to see it.

I just picked it up at lunch from Best Buy for $9.27. They priced matched CompUSA + 10%. Damn, cannot beat that. Even if the movie sucks, I can sell it on ebay for more.

Well, it didn't, at least for me. Enjoyable, fun movie. Geared towards kids, but fun for adults. A little long, but it did keep me entertained.

I watched it---I really enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!
A little too long. The video was a 3 out of 5( a bit grainy in several scenes). Audio was a 3.5 could have been more aggresive in the surrounds. Also for some reason the one I rented was full screen even though I did not see such a copy. I think I will buy this one ---along with LEGEND.:D

The first 20 minutes was the worst port of the movie. It radically changes from that point on. ;)

Damn. under 10 buck?? My wife picked it up last Sunday, a day earlier than it was supposed to be released. She paid around 20 bucks for it. Had a house full of kids last Monday, put this movie on and it was magic. I did get to see the chess game. Very impresssive. May kick back tonight and try to watch the whole thing with the wife & kids............................................

rented it tonite at BB (haven't watched it yet), but they have a 'rent it, like it, buy it' promo. on this DVD. if you rent it and want to buy it at the same BB (previewed of course), it's yours for only $9.99. if i like it, i'll probably buy it this way...

The guys up there got it new for that much. What sucks is you have to what awhile so all the little kids can play feesbie, scratch it, see if it will work any better with PJ sandwitch smuges on it, see if it floats, use it as a slurpie coster, and tie it around the dogs neck and see if two other heads pop out.
