sony es2000 vesus sony ce595

is the es2000($259) worth the extra $140 than the CE595($119) both are for audio only. please advise, need to buy soon

    Yes, 5 year waranty, dual power supply and headphone jack make the SCD-2000ES worth the extra $ IMO.

    I'm not familair with either of those units, but Sony ES products are generally better sounding than their regular stuff, which are basically crapola. However at that price range I don't think you'll notice much of a difference. Of course, it's always best if you can listen to whatever it is you want to buy.

    that is exactly what I was looking for, me thinks I will spend the extra $140, i do not intend on upgrading for a long time so it will probably be worth it.
