I sold my Energy speakers cuz I didn't think I would have room for them at the new place. I ended up going with a KEF 1005 system at Ultimate Electronics for $300. While I was there looking around, I saw that they were clearing out all of their KEF speakers for Mirage, and some of the prices were just insane. So I bought the 1005 system and I thought it did a good job for the money and the size. I went back the next day and purchased a Q2c center for $100 to replace the 1005 center speaker. After listening to it, I decided I wanted a complete Q system. I returned the 1005 set, and bought a pair of Q5's for $250 and a pair of Q1's for $100. I blew my Velodyne so I'm currently without a sub for now until I get the woofer replaced . The Q system sounds amazing, but now what am I going to do for space lol? These will definitely eat up the new living room, but I guess that's something I'm going to have to live with it God I hate this hobby...

I myself tried to fight the upgrade bug in the beginning, but after awhile, I came to realize that it just never dies...:DReceiver: harmankardon AVR235

Haha...that's funny. How would you compare the KEF's to the Energy's? I've never critically listened to any KEF's, though a friend of mine has some of their older floorstanders.George Grand wrote: »
