OK deal at OneCall for AVR7300

OneCall.com has the Harman Kardon AVR7300 7.1 Channel AV Receiver with DCDi for $1050 - $50 code SPRING06 + $0 shipping = $1000 shipped. It has the legendary Faroudja DCDi chip.

I'd like to see it go for $500, but it's not a bad deal.

    $500? Asking a lot aren't you? Especially froma receiver that retailed $1800. I guess your wife must have a tough time pleasing you... "You call that dinner?"

    Home Setup: Sony VPL-VW85 Projo, 92" Stewart Firehawk, Pioneer Elite SC-65, PS3, RTi12 fronts, CSi5, FXi6 rears, RTi6 surround backs, RTi4 height, MFW-15 Subwoofer.

    Car Setup: OEM Radio, RF 360.2v2, Polk SR6500 quad amped off 4 Xtant 1.1 100w mono amps, Xtant 6.1 to run an eD 13av.2, all Stinger wiring and Raammat deadener.

    Yep, $500, I'd even buy it for pre duty for that price. I'm thinking of replacing my 7200 with pre but just can't justify it even when the front 3 are being driven by external amp.

    there were times, when I conducted her Yearly Evaluation and Performance Review, that "Sustenance" (aka "Breakfast", "Lunch", and/or "Dinner") was one of the areas found "Needing Improvement".
