Have you flipped back and fourth between PCM and Bitrate?

That's a pretty useless review. Why review a HD product with on SD dvds?

I'm out out ideas millerman. I have not had the problem so I cannot offer up help other then the obvious which it seems you have covered. It still sounds like a set-up issue as I don't recall reading about others having this same problem.

HD-DVD, finally got my player last night. On the 720p projector, the picture is good. On the 1080p DLP TV I got today, the picture is awesome. Huge difference in PQ between the two and the TV isn't that much smaller than the projector picture.

Cool to hear Sami. I'm stuck in 720p land and no plans to upgrade for a couple of years but with the player set at 1080i the image is stunning.
