I think these are new, and if I am wrong, please disregard this post. Just wondered if anyone would try using something like this in their home.

    They look solid, and being Polks I'm sure they'd sound good, too.
    I only question how easy they'd be to service if anything goes wrong.
    In my experience wiring homes, including CATV, intercoms, CAT5, telephone,
    etc., I also wonder if people would be able to commit to a location in a new construction environment. It seems like once these things are in, they're IN. And moving a switch, outlet, or phone jack would seem to be a lot easier than tearing up a floor, if that's what's called for. People can be funny that way.
    So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
