we have been working on our basement since november 2005 and we are almost done. I am getting ready to buy a svs 20-39 pc plus as my sub. the other equipment i already have are denon 3805, oppo, sony plz4, rti8, csi5 and fxi5. i got one free polk psw 10 sub when I got my speakers, my question is should i use both subs at the same time? and if so how do i connect them? or should just sell the psw 10:D

Use the PSW10 as a small end table or foot rest.

Might go with some padding for the foot rest function. The PSW10 will do little to enhance the sound of the SVS. The SVS is completely the dominant sub of the two. Might as well recoup some costs and sell the PSW10.
Congrats on almost completing the new HT room. Bet your just gnawing at the bit to get it completed.

Would you be interested in selling the PSW10? I might put it in the garage to go along with my Kenwood bookshelf 2 channel. :)

Sounds like a good plan to get rid of the psw10. I myself have tried running an extra sub I had lying around and just found it to be annoying to try and sound good along with the other sub. All it seemed to do is create problems so it's sitting in my closet now ;)
