    Well, there you go. The owner was told that all they needed for speaker wire was lamp cord, so a couple of lamps were quickly sacrificed, the speakers wired and promptly plugged into a wall receptacle.:p

    A good reason not to recommend lamp cord as speaker wire.;) :D

    Surprisingly, only tweeters busted. Mid-woofers are intact as far as I can tell. Subs are on separate path - it was RT2000i.
