Samuel L. Jackson and Fiddy cent are both in town filming a movie for a few weeks.. I think it's going to be called Home of the Brave.

Kind of cool watching the film crew do their thing. They work slow.. takes em hours if not days for a few scenes.

I haven't run into Samuel L. Jackson yet. but he did have dinner a few nights ago at a resturant two blocks from my house. :p

Last I heard the union workers prevented it being shot in Spokane. Where the hell would SLJ eat on the South Hill anyways?

the union walk out only lasted a few days.. filming has resumed.

There is a new wine bar resturant on the South Hill now. just opened two weeks ago. it's called something like VinRouge. The South Hill may even get a Wal Mart!! ;)

It is amazing how slow it appears to go. When we were shooting Sweet Home Alabama, we would get on the set at 7 in the morning and then they would tell us they would shoot at 6 that afternoon. Then wind up shooting the scenes about 10-15 times. Get home about 2 am.

.... moniker from the movie! :)
They always leave them up until the next movie is filmed there. There's been parts of about 12 shot there. Stop in at Heavy's BarBQ, that is where the "bar" was filmed.
