Crossover confusion

My receiver, (Sony STR-DA4ES), has crossover adjustments for each individual channel. I was wondering if a global setting of let's say 80Hz would be more advisable or should each channel be crossed over according to each speaker's capabilities?
Oh, and by the way, I got my SVS PB-10 ISD the other day!! Yeah baby!!

Some use a cutoff point lower on their front stage if the speakers can handle it to center more bass in front of the listener. This can be a solution if the sub position is less than optimal. 80 hz is a great starting point for all setups and few find themselves needing any setting higher than that if they have capable speakers,HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable
