Honsetly, t his season kinda sucks, if you ask me. They've almost completely abandoned any notion of "real-time", and the plot makes basically no sense. Prior seasons were unbelievable, but only to an extent where they were still fun to watch. This season I just find myself more annoyed than anything else.

ALthough the end of that last episode was pretty cool. Jack Bauer still kicks some serious ****. :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Excellent, I was kind of hoping it was the evil VP, guy is a good actor with a bit part who can really play an ****, they have portrayed Logan as such a bumbling idiot he just seems to weak, to conjure up anything complex, ok maybe that is his cover, so, the Mrs. is going to catch him, save Jack, boink and marry Aaron? the Secret Service dude.

This is going to be a great season because they have a lot of story lines they need to tie together. Logan was freaked out at the 'traitor' in his administration earlier on in the season, but now they're saying he is one as well.

I noticed last night at one point Jack said "I'll be there in 20 minutes." That was at 9:20...at 9:40, Jack is pulling up to the barn. What I don't believe, though, is that he was exactly 20 minutes away.

How about the fact that the explosion at the gas plant happened within seconds of the end of last week's episode. The very beginning of this week's episode, which was less than a minute later in "real time", emergency crews were there, and had already searched the entire complex for Jack and not found him.

Aaron and Wayne Palmer were out at the car, talking in the woods (or even in the driveway). Wayne is all bloody. Cut directly to the President's wife's aide, and 30 seconds later Aaron and Palmer are intercepting her, in the buildling, looking completely clean and composed.

But beyond that, the plot is just way too out there. So... Russian terrorists assasinated an ex-president, as a distraction for an airport hostage situation, which itself was a distraction so that they could get Centox gas, which they were going to use against the Russians. Their CONTINGENCY PLAN was that if they couldn't use it on the Russians, they would use it on the Americans. This contingency plan involved huge layers of complexity, including some hot chick getting plans for the gas plant, stealing Rudy's CTU ID card so they could infiltrate CTU and gas that, etc etc. And that's not HALF of it! It's just crazy.

All seasons of 24 have been unbelievable, and this season is no different than any other. You're going to have to suspend a little disbelief in any show to cram all they need to into one hour and keep their viewers entertained.

Enjoy it, and if it's insulting you're intelligence that much -- stop watching. :D

Eh, I still love it, Jack's still my hero. Just complainin about nothing, as usual, I guess. Part of the fun of these shows to me is picking them apart :)

The gaff with Wayne Palmer was a really bad one. I definitely agree with that. His face was all bloody -- indicating some kind of a facial wound, but when he was talking withthe VP he was perfectly fine other than his gauzed up hand. That was definitely a bad mistake. The rest I don't care about so much as long as the stories are tied together well.
