I am fairly new to the Club, as the # of posts will show, but have been a Polk fan/owner for almost 3 years now - it's never too late to upgrade your tastes, I guess. I recently purchased a Denon 2106 to replace my Technics unit, which will be relocated to our basement den/playroom. The Denon is primarily used for HT, and it is with this in mind that ask for advice... I own only Polks (except for an Advent I picked up for the ridiculously low price of $69 last year, and connected to my R15 surrounds), in a 5.1 config, but was
wondering if anyone can offer some good choices for rear surround(s)?
The setup as a whole sounds pretty good as it sits: I was just thinking there's something I may be missing out on w/o a rear speaker? Any advice or comments would be appreciated. Thx2all. By the way, my HT area is a living room, 15x25x8, with the typical furnishings in place, and there's a brick fireplace in the back wall, with all seating at least three feet from the back.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
