Need stand recommendation for LSi7
I'd like something mass-loadable with spikes on the bottom that looks nice and costs no more than $150.
Any recommendations?
I'd even consider some DIY wood stands if someone knows where I can get some decent plans.

Take a look at www.racksandstands.com or www.partsexpress.com. Both places have some nice stands in that price range that will work for the 7's.Tschüss

DIY speaker stands
I built a pair similar to those, only with two 4" PVC columns instead of one. If you want to keep it simple and really bulk it up a single 6" PVC column would be perfect. Project cost me between $50-75 because I used 1" thick oak hardwood for the top and bottom bases, painted MDF would be even cheaper. The stand are VERY solid and weigh in about 50 pounds each when filled with sand.Sony KDL-40V2500 HDTV, Rotel RSX-1067 Receiver, Sony BDP-S550 Blu-ray, Slim Devices Squeezebox, Polk RTi6, CSi3 & R15, DIY sub with Atlas 15 -

This one looks promising. Anyone have any experience with Lovan? I know their racks are pretty good...
But 24" is probably not high enough for the 7's is it?
Then there's this one from Wood Technology.

I've used some all-metal Lovan's, and they were well made and looked nice for the money (currently for sale in the Flea Market if you want to see how they look).
Partsexpress.com has some very heavy all-metal stands for around $100, but I think 24" is the max height.
I think something around 28-30" would be perfect for the 7's.5.1 and 2.0 ch Basement Media Room: Outlaw 975/Emotiva DC-1/Rotel RB-1582 MKII/Rotel RB-1552/Audiosource Amp 3/Polk LS90, CS400i, FX500i/Outlaw X-12, LFM-1/JVD DLA-HD250/Da-Lite 100" HCCV/Sony ES BDP/Sonos Connect. I put my LSi9s on Sanus 26B stands. The top plate is a little small, but $1.79 sticky tack from Staples is holding them well (almost too well). Oh yeah, I got the stands for $90 from buy.com.

I pulled the trigger on the Lovans. I think they'll look nice with the cherry sides of the LSi's. Only $99 shipped.
