Speaker positioning
I have read lots about speaker positioning with respect to height and distance from walls and corners but this question is about "toeing in" speakers. Is whether speakers is toed in or not more dependant upon the room or the speaker? I hear of people setting up their system with the fronts toed in but most pple who post pics of their system have the fronts facing straight. So...do I toe in my RT7's or does it depend on the room itself?

Some Speakers are made to face straight forward. Toe yours in.

Let your ears be the judge. I do not toe my speakers in b/c they are less than 10feet apart from each other.

you should.

Speaking of imaging - that feeling of musicians being before you in three dimensions - this can often be enhanced by 'toeing in' the speakers towards the listening position. Rather than have them firing straight down the room, try swinging them in a little - you could just find everything suddenly snaps into focus.
Some manufacturers advise against it - take a bow, Mission - but we usually find it helps. If it makes the sound better for you, then it's the way you should do it - however wrong it may seem. (What HiFi?Sound & Vision)

H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul! -
Since my room has 2 listening positions that are both near opposite walls (ie..not in the middle), I don't toe my speakers in...Pioneer Elite VSX-53, Polk RT800i fronts, Polk CS400i center, FX500i surround, Velodyne sub
