Newbie Amp Question

Ok. Kinda new to all things sound.
I am trying to maximize my Home Theater Experience but with Room constraints and Neighbor constraints I can't get too much sound. So, Would it be adventageous to add an AMP to my current HT set-up???
If so, what would you reccommend? And are there any Sites out there that can explain it all in Layman terms???
Thanks!
Joe

Sorry about the simplicity of the question, but just want to try to make the best setup I can and not really as informed as I would like to be.

With all the limitations that you described, your current systems are good for that environment. I don't think you need to upgrade unless you move to a bigger environment with less limitations, in that case, you probably may need more power... (adding new amp, upgrade the front L/R speakers...) To maximize your current system, try the bi-wire option and adding one of the AC conditioner, the MC HTS-2500 or HTS-3500 should do a good job for you...

Thanks for the input Peter.
What is the MC-HTS 2500/3500??? And what does it do? I assume it's a Monster Cable Conditioner but not really sure what it does... -
You can check out the features and specs of these AC conditioners via this website:
