Hi:
Just bought a HTS 1000 MKII for my setup (Monster I know but it is the best I can purchase around here and I got it for 45 bucks off). I am running a 20amp/2400w circut in the room but this bar is only rated 15amps/1800w. Have an SVS sub coming next week and wondering if the bar is going to be able to power everything?
What I have connected to the bar (model numbers are in my sig):
Panasonic 32" CRT Tau (uses 288W I think)
Old Goldstar VCR (??w)
Bell Express view Sat dish (??w)
Sony 5disc player (15W)
Marantz SR7500 amp (power rating on back is 680w I think)
Speakers connected:
- 2 monitor 60
- 2 Monitor 40
- 1 CS1
Polk PW10 50w rms (changing to SVS 20-39 PC+ next week. Uses 525w Rms)
Sony Playstation (45W) (new slim model).
I know if you add it up I should have enough but I am still not sure. Is this bar going to be enough for everything or should I have bought something bigger?
Note that I does seem to sound clearer now that I have the power conditioning. Don't notice anything in the picture.

You will not be using all the gear at the same time, I would say you are fine.
So unless you roll up the rim and win tons of cash I say keep what you have. -
Will be running the reciever, sub, tv and say DVD palyer at the same time and that is where most of the power draw is from.Current Setup:
