New construction home I will have a plasma above fireplace, LSiC below that. Bookshelves on both sides of the fireplace with LSi 9's and an SVS Sub in corner of room. I have no Idea what kind of cables to run to what (other than I have aquired 150' of audioquest 14/2 speaker cable for speakers) or where to purchase them or whether to leave the cable hanging out of the wall (I would assume not to do this?) or if they make faceplates and connectors. Please help this newbie:o

Check out this website for modular wallplates you can install. For speaker wire connections you can use the banana jacks.

For in wall speaker cable you should use UL listed CL-3 type. It may be required by code depending on where you live. Ixos makes in - wall speaker cable. You can twist tie two of the four conductors to make a "larger" than 16 gauge wire (recommended) for longer runs.
