umm.... no i really don't care for Miso soup. but you really should treat yourself once in a while and get the real thing in a Japanese resturant. ;)

and order me a spicy tuna roll while you're at it. :p

If they have the red miso soup give that a try. Different flavor, but also good.

I enjoy Miso. Actually the best Miso we had was when we were in LA actually OC. can't remember the name for the life of me but the chef was amazing, he even carved Mickey out of an orange for my wife.

I love miso soup, because when I have it, it's invariably at a Japanese restaurant and followed by yummy sushi.

Cold miso is also a part of "old skool" style japanese breakfast! I think I'll stick to honey-nut cheerios... :)

I love the stuff, especially if I'm feeling crappy. It's the perfect soup for when you're sick ;)

Making 'real' miso is actually nearly instant too as far as effort goes.

The miso gunk is a fermented soy concoction. Just don't use very much of it, it's about the highest concentrated salty **** I've ever used in cooking ;-). I swear a tablespoon of it will make more than a gallon of soup.

Miso is good stuff !! I was introduced to it just a few years ago and I always try to have some on hand at home for those days when you feel "under the weather".
