The wife said....well when they give the OK,ya have to take advantage of it ,right?Just received a pair of Legacy Focus 20/20 from a dealer in GREEN BAY.Floor demo's,8-months old in Ribbon Mahogony. These are f'''in gorgeous!!
Now keep in mind I don't have an amp yet so they are just bi-wired off my B&K AVR 307.Let me tell ya all, they sound great!!!Forgiving of upstream gear and voices are fantastic. We always take reviews with a grain of salt but they are all true, believe me,true, true, true!!!!Looking for a good SS amp with at least 300 wpc and later do tubes on top.Have to work on the wife alittle first.
These are speaks that your gear upgrade path will grow into.Just wanted to share some of my joy today.
BTW met ANONYMOUSE today, very nice guy,too bad we were both busy and didn't have alot of time to talk.Cheers everyone!:D :D:D:D

Congrats! They sound real nice. 300 SS watts on the bottom and tubes on top sounds like a great plan.

Man,diggin' is an under statement !!! Can't wait for more gear to come.I was thinking of the Butler TDB 2250 A hybrid tube,SS amp.Any of you guy's have one ? Any Butler products at all ? These babies really rock, and no sub needed.
I thought that was impossible but with 3-12-in. on the bottom, they can pound.Sub is really over kill.I will be a happy camper for a long..long time!!:D :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

No Legacy dealers in my area. Can only imagine how good those babies sound. Although I've never heard a pair, if the sound is on par with the looks, they must sound sweet. Man you're lucky. Congrats!

I'm assuming by the size and the 20/20 designation that these are full range speakers? Congrats!

    Tony-

Those are the exact speakers I will use to build a 2ch rig.... when I have an extra 15k laying around

They are absolutely amazing, and in ribbon mahogany... gorgeous!

    Completely green with envy here!

Legacy has moved from Illinois to PA I believe.Do they sound as good as they look ? And then some. They do need some room to breath guy's.My room is
24+26 with a 8 ft ceiling and they fill it.Sounstage is wide and deep.Voices are incredible.Highly recommended for 2-channel or HT.This is just first impressions too. When I get a amp. I'm sure everything will be even better. They are also highly efficient ,around 96 I believe so you won't need a monster amp to drive these.I have to agree with one reviewer who said "Unless your willing to spend NEW CAR KIND OF MONEY,these are possibly
the most speaker to be had under 15 grand." Are there better speaks out there ? Sure ,but these have such a balance,do lots of thing right and does nothing wrong.Find a pair and listen, you WILL be impressed!!!!
