I am about to pull the trigger and purchase a 970 Pre/Processor & 7075 Seven Channel Amplifier from Outlaw to use in a surround system. Does anyone have any thoughts regarding how the Polk lsic and Lsi 9s will work with this setup? They are going to be in a room that is about 15ft by 25 ft. Will this system push these speakers?

with the size of your room and your speakers you should get the 7125 or 7700 amp.

would it also make sense to just go ahead and get the bigger 990 pre/processor as well? I think they give a deal when you buy both.

If you are going to utilize all of the features that the 990 has, now or in the future then go for it. If not then stick with the 970.

I would also opt for an amp with more wattage since they will be pushing the LSI's.

I opted for the 990 over the 970 as well. the specs and reviews helped point me in that direction.

I have been eyeing the 970/7075 combo from Outlaw, and have been tempted as well after reading some positive reviews of their products. My room is 14X12feet with 9foot ceilings. Would that size room be okay for this combo?

I have been reading a bit about Rotel as well, how would similar amps from Rotel compare to the Outlaw amps? I understand that you save some costs with Outlaw being direct to home sales vs retail. Would that mean that their products might be priced similar to Rotel's? Please forgive my ignorance if I'm not in the ballpark comparing these brands as I'm just learning about the wonderful world of "seperates"
