Need help with old Eclipse Deck

Hey guys. I've been out of the CA scene for years, so please excuse me for bringing up such an antique.:)

I have an old eclipse 5332 (10yo maybe) that I haven't used in years. The other day I came across it and thought maybe I would eBay it. Well being the genius that I am I didn't unlock it before removing it from that last car it was in. So I hooked it up to a power supply and grabbed the first 5 discs I thought might be the key. They all failed, so now the display says "HELP". Now I distinctly remember the manual saying that after the first 5 discs if you press a certain key combo it will give you 5 more attempts and then pop up an 800 number. Does anyone by any chance know what those keys are?

And secondly....If I can't get it in the next 5 attempts does anyone have any idea how much Eclipse will charge me to unlock it?

I know this is a long shot, but any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: Added picture in case it would help.

Thanks
Dave

Give Eclipse a call, if anything they may be able to help you with a rolling code or something.

Haven't used it in at least 5 years. Just been sitting in a box doing nothing. Plus my current car has a factory NAV system with Mark Levinson, and I have to admit is sounds really good as is.

If I do get it unlocked I'll probably offer it up here first.

    Thanks

Did you have to pay shipping both ways?

I'm just trying to determine if this thing is worth paying to unlock. I would sure hate for it to go to waste. It is in like new condition. I can hardly find any scratches on the chassis. I just can't imagine anyone would give very much for a HU this old.

Well I finally figured out how to get the 5 extra tries and I still didn't get it. I'll just have to give eclipse a call tomorrow. What really sucks is I think I just remembered what disc it was, and now I will never know if I was right. That's gonna drive me crazy:mad:!!!! Oh well, guess I'll have to live with it.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll let you know if I decide to sell it.:)

Well just talked to Eclipse. I have to pay $25 for the service plus $9 return shipping, and of course I have to pay for shipping it out.

This sucks!!!! I know it's my own fault, but it still sucks.

Can your local Eclipse dealer unlock it? I dont see why not. If theyre an authorized dealer they should be able to service it.

And that is a damn good looking deck. I wish they still made em that good looking, I may have bought one!
