Hey guys quick question from a newbie. If an sacd player has to be hooked up via analog inputs, therefore bypassing the preamps DAC's. Does this mean that the sonic signature is bypassed as well, meaning the type of sound is controlled by the sacd player? Thanks

The only part of the receiver being bypassed is the DAC. You will still have the "sonic signature" of it's internal pre-amp and amp. Which I would venture to say effects the overall sound far more than the DAC.

cool, thanks I was wondering if the preamp would still be important in that case.
