I got my 3000's used and they didn't come with carpet spikes. Can anyone tell me some good reasons to have them? Where can I get them?

"By rigidly coupling a loudspeaker enclosure to a floor by means of a "spiking" system, it is possible to dramatically improve clarity, stereo imaging and bass response. This is very apparent with subwoofer systems."
You can call Polk directly for feet, but I would go to partsexpress.com and gets some there. If your don't NEED Polk specific feet. I feel that they are worth getting, and really $20 for speakers of that price, totally worth it.

It is from the Parts Express website. I believe it is a quote from Dayton Audio.

I hope this helps. You can always e-mail me if you have anymore questions.
