The new flea market rules have been in place for over a month. For weeks there has been some humor and ball busting as to be expected with anything in transition.

Today my line has been crossed and it is time for me to speak up. http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=39038
Dorokusai is one of the few members that have contributed to this club probably more than most will. Crapping on his sale makes my blood boil. Obviously his too as he has offered the item for free.

In the past, we used to be able to add our opinions to items for sale, now the owners have changed the rules and we are supposed to stop doing this. Why? Maybe some newbie was offended and complained. More likely the owners of this board got tired of us mouthing off.

We complained as a group and our voices were heard. The rules were changed again.

Some members are continuing to post replies with obviously no interest in the item for sale. Even disrespecting the items. This makes me mad and I don't even use the flea market much. Less than 10 purchases for me I believe.

If this keeps up, the members posting deals will dry up. How do you feel about this? How would you feel about this if you were trying to sell something?

Agree, that was totally out of line. Next time I see something like that, I'm gonna request the individual be banned from the Flea Market.

If there was another memo or free passes handed out, I didn't hear about it. Don't get me wrong, I don't have my shorts in a bind over this, but it's been going on for weeks and taking aim at Doro of all people hit a nerve with me.

Sorry trying to give a fellow member like your selfs a heads up about a device they are considering buying. Why is this over the line? Why don't the seller say nothing on any new item they are thinking about in the FM over the Clubhouse? Then any input from me wouldn't be consider over the line. I would say nothing on Doro's sale as nothing he was selling was in interest to me, but to smooth things over I again say ok send it to me, and I buy a game also.

Negative comments by those who are not interested, and even worse often not informed, is extremely annoying. I was pretty pissed when DiscoMike:mad: posted a comment on the FM ad for my PSW650. Who knows maybe it had no effect. I'm pretty new to selling in the FM so maybe my price was just too high. Either way I'm pretty sure I didn't need some idiot pushing SVS.

I was really opposed to the new rules when they were posted, but I'm starting to come around rather quickly. After all if we see a good member posting interest in a potentially bad sale we can just as easily PM that person to warn them. That way the thread can just die as Justin suggests. And hopefully if it is a newbie just trying to leech off of us, he will assume there is no money to be made here and leave.

    Ok I'm done.:)

Ok, again did I say that Linksys wired router was not good. Didn't I not say I had other Linksys stuff? I did say don't get a Linksys wireless router, if someone did buy one and as a problem with I would feel bad because I didn't say anything.

DisneyJoe - I think we've pretty much beat this horse to death and then some, however you might of handled the situation a little differently. You could of pm'd Dorokusai and asked if he had any trouble with his Linksys router, and that the reason you were asking is that you had previous problems with one of yours. The whole thing might have been cleared up without it being in public view. I think that is what the new FM rules suggest. I'm typing this using a Linksys wireless router, so at least one of them works fine. Doug.

He had a wired router (no Antenna) I had 2 wireless router (with Antenna) I'm I clear now? I needed to update my software because of a new Laptop Dell XPS M140 with WinXP pro problem for seeing the wireless router. I but the wrong software on one, the other one get the right software (which help the Laptop to see it) then it needed to be repowered once or twice a day. Before the software update it was 100% ok with me and I too was a large Fan of Linksys. This changed my mind I'm 10% fan now.

Help that clears up some stuff now.

So should I tell DickoMike that his LS f/x's are about $75 too high? Or do you want to?

HA! Didn't even notice he was selling anything. Be my guest!!! While you're at it you can tutor him on picture resizing.

BTW. I guess I'll just ask. Is my pricing on that 650 out of line, or is it just a genuine lack of interest? If it is price, just speak up. I can take it.:D
