Short Visit with HTrookie...

Had a chance to make the acquaintance of Ricardo and his beautiful family (and audio room) today when I picked up a couple "sixpacks" from him. As with every other CP'er I have visited, I was made to feel most welcome in his home.

He's put a lot of time into the finishing of a nice HT/ Family room in the basement. Further, he has plans for a 2 channel room in the piece of the basement that remains.

We did a little visiting and a little listening to his JBL amp-powered, Ebony-finished, fully modded, 1.2tl's with a Dared and Denon front end... nice...

Introduced him to Flim and the BB's and a few other demo goodies in my travel pack... yes, including Dee-Lite (Deep Ending is an SDA must).

Anyway, a short visit was dictated by return to NE Ohio so I could watch THE Ohio State University fall to Georgetown... :( .... But it was a good time nonetheless... (the visit, not the game).

Thanks for the hosptality, Ricardo. Let's do it again sometime.

    Whereabouts in NE Ohio are you staying? I'm in Columbus so if it's on your way back you're more than welcome to stop by and listen to my line arrays and infinite baffle sub I have in the basement. However, I'm leaving for Florida from the 21st to the 29th so the timing probably won't work out :(

    Flying out this go 'round, but driving tour is in the planning stages for this summer. I'll be in touch.

    Did stop stop in Columbus on the way down Saturday, and ate at Schmidt's (?) in the german village section. Good eats...

    It was a pleasure having you over Bruce (and your mother); too bad it was all in such a hurry, and you had already eaten.....:)

    Next time we need to plan a longer one.
