Hey guys I was looking into getting an amp and was checking out these 2. The citation bridged is a little more powerful, but I was curious as to the sound quality and durability of these 2 amps. I am going 2 channel at the moment so I am looking stereo amps for now. Anybody out there with experience with these. Any other recommendations for 200+ wpc amps for a budget under $500 would be appreciated. Thanks

Chris

Look on Audiogon for used Rotels, Parasounds & Outlaws.

The 555 (aka the minivan of power amps) is very solid and will handle just about anything you throw at it. It will probably give you better perfomance than the Citation would bridged, however, you gotta figure that the citation will give you more flexibility down the road.
