Listening to George Winston and drinking some Sazerac rye.

Any rye drinkers out there? I read an article recently about how good some of the new rye's are. I stopped by the local liquor shed the other day and found Rittenhouse b.i.b. and Sazerac 6 year old . The Rittenhouse was $12 a bottle. From what I saw on the web, it usually goes for $15 to $20. It's ridiculously good for $12. I went back and bought a second bottle. I'm trying the Sazerac for the first time tonight. Smooth and a little more mellow than the Rittenhouse. The Rittenhouse is a little spicier. I'm not sure which I like better. More taste testing is in order! These hit a really nice middle ground between bourbon and scotch.

Has anyone seen Fat **** wines? Had some of that last night.

Probably raid the liquor cabinet this evening for a few drinks. Cognac, Tequila, or...? But not too much. Other suggestions are 'welcome'!

I've wanted to get into trying some Cognac - toss some suggestions out for a newbie.

If you like Cognac - how about some Scottish single malts?

Glenlivet 15 Yr, aged in French Oak Reserve - a very nice experience.

Something brown, in a bottle with a handle, starting to feel a little frisky 'round here.

Just laid some cable and got some on my hand during cleanup, thinking about nachos and cigarettes......

Dupont Saison beer from Belgium. Highly recommended. I recommend the "organic" version even more. Not because it's organic, but because it tastes even better than the Saison. It's called Foret and is brewed buy the same Belgian brewery named Brasserie Dupont. Below are a some pictures of each. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
