Did anyone see the DIY home theater show a few months ago when they used concrete forms filled with sand as bass traps? From what Ive read, it wont work! Has anyone tried this? Also what about using the conrete forms, drill some holes in them & filling them with the pink insulation as bass traps, maybe raising them off the floor a bit & covering them with cloth. thanks

can be made by taking rolled insulation in plastic covers, painting the rolls black and putting them in unabtrusive places in the corners.
I have some corners that are hidden by furniture, and don't have to worry about WAF, so no problem.
I guess you could cover them with cloth if they were more out in the open.

I have tried placing insulation to see if it is effective - it is - but I have not tried to put it in a container. I just covered it with cloth. Two rolls corrected a dip at 100 hz n the opposite corner but I switched my sub placement and don't use them now.Sharp Elite 70
