Where the new Polk SR Subwoofers designed in-house? How are they supposed to compare to the JL W6v2?

I would assume that they are probably at least as good if not better. Have not heard one though.

The SR's were designed here by our engineers. We have JL W6v2's as well as many other woofers here for comparison. Once Tweeter and other dealers get the SR woofers in stock everyone will be able to see how they compare.

I hadn't noticed the painted 'phase plug' on the tweeters before. That's an awesome touch!

Me too, but demo cars are supposed to grab your attention. Wouldnt be much of a demo car if you walked by it at a show and mistook it for a spectators car.

I have been to shows and seen some very nice and classy installs that would never be confused with a spectator's car, but I get what you mean.

Here's something more low- key for those that hate show cars:

    http://www.polkaudio.com/caraudio/installs/viewpolk.php?id=29

We finished the Magnum a few months ago and it was the first car to have an SR sub in it (SR124DVC). Shutty's car now has a pair of SR124's in it.

Once in a while. My music taste is pretty wide. Growing up in a household where my parents played many kinds of music I guess did it. They would play the Beatles, classical music, spanish music (different kinds), classic rock and whole lot of other stuff. I have friends now that listen to metal. I just never got into it.

I remember as a teenager my parents not liking me listening to rap :D. Kept listening though :). I prefer the slower stuff, not into the whole not being able to understand what they are saying thing. Most of the time when I listen to rap, it is the older stuff.

I love Sevendust! There one of the few bands out that I will buy their latest CD without hearing anything from it first.

Their first 2 CD's were the best. Heavy and mean as hell. The 3rd was ok with the 4th picking it back up and kicking **** again. I look forward to their newest one.
