Where in the world can I get some of this stuff over 12" diameter?
While in Paducah today I checked if Home Depot had it. Nope. So when I got back into town I checked Lowes, and yet again. "We can't get anything over 12"'s. Don't know where you can either."
My neighbor is an engineer for IDOT so I was pondering asking him if he can give me the perverbial hook up. If he can't, and you guys don't know I will be building a dual 15" triangle shaped corner enclosure. 2.72 cubic feet for each woofer; already designed. Sucker will stand a whopping 48'"s tall! 20"'s out on each side. With a right angle in the back. I figure cost with amp and all will be a monstrous $265 for that or $240 for the tube. A miniscule difference so please render any assistance available. The project appears to have a lifespan from start to ahh of about six weeks, and I have already asked my neighbor if he would have any interest in my current woofer. I plan on starting this next weekend. So fingers are definately crossed on no surprise bills. The cost is significantly lowered . because I would be using MTX 4000 woofers, and a cheaper (Sony) 100x2 stereo receiver (with the LFE output on my Onkyo as a input on the Sony) for the power. So I beckon again. PLEASE HELP!
