Monitor 50s at $400 a pair or Monitor 60s at $560 a pair...

I thought the 50s sounded a little more sharp compared with the 60s. Am keen to hear from anyone who has compared the two...

the 60's/T90's are the only Monitors I like.

Wait and get the T90's when they're on sale for $350/pair at Frys or wherever. Other people know on here and chances are they're still on sale.

The t90's are the euro-style version of the 60's and have real wood veneer. An excellent buy.

    http://shop2.outpost.com/search?search_type=regular&query_string=polk&cat=0&sort=price&order_by=p04d&search_type=regular&order=desc&resultpage=2&from=50&to=74

If/when these ever do go on sale for $350 a PAIR (whew !) at Outpost, let's hope that a fellow Polkie posts that news quickly on the forums. Good deals do show up at Outpost (Fry's), but don't last that long.

    ....especially one like this.

A site that lists deals from Fry's frequently, and OneCall, and other sites that cater to audio deals is www.bensbargains.net.

I'm not associated with Bensbargains, so I don't have anything to gain. Just a little heads up. Unfortunately Fry's (Outpost) doesn't let you sign up for a "Watching this Item, Email when **** price drops below ****".

Got my Monitor 40's for $149 shipped, and my Onkyo 503 cheap from a link on Bensbargains.

Again, I'm not associated with them, don't get anything from mentioning them, etc.

    Happy Hunting !
