I guess he is referring to this post....

It would have helped if you had posted it in the proper forum. IE: The "Troubleshooting" vs the "Forum testing Area". Nobody really goes there to read posts. The info you got simply means the driver you have isn't available any more and for the weld...not enough information. Probably a CS tech issue anyway."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

Sorry, I'm not an expert in #5001-3 or #5001-4.

Do you really expect us to know every product polk made inside and out...? It's not a personal thing against the new guys or anything, but more of a question that no one has a clue about.
For really technical and specific questions like that customer service would probably be a much better source since they can have a chat with the guys that actually build the stuff. For anything else, feel free to post here and I'm sure you'll get a better response (or an actual response*). -
Well,, welcome anyway,, hang around, you'll learn something:)JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

Or just go whine to someone else, ya baby.If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I'm a newbie here too (as you can see by my number of posts). Awaiting a response on my first post. Guess it's best not to thank ppl in advance.

Welcome to the forum. Was your question posted in the Forum Testing Area? That area is used to test a post, see how it looks, did my pic turn out. probably the wrong area. Don't feel bad. I posted a general question on another forum and 75 people viewed it with 0 responses. If people know they answer.Michael

Thanks all. I'm getting responses quite quickly now. Seems Polk people can be very helpful. I'm new to Polk products. Was introduced through a friend who swears by polk speakers. Unfortunately I have caviar taste on a tuna budget. Doing my best to scour the internet for deals. Wish me luck

Polk isn't exactly caviar...more like a nice shrimp cocktail. Not too expensive...but nice nonetheless."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

I said I have caviar taste. Didn't say I was eating it.:)

welcome to the club! From one newbie to another

You don't happen to have any shower shoes or snow shovels you want to let go for cheap, do you ?
If you do, PM me first ! I like a good deal !
And ..... uhm ......<cough><cough>.....sorry.
I'm new, too. One thing I've noticed (gladly) is that manners are appreciated throughout the forums and nobody appreciates carpetbaggers.
Have some fun, and learn something in the process.
If you do have some used shower shoes in fair condition, though, well ......
......keep 'em to yourself !
