Hey guys, I have a 55" crt rear projection tv thats about 6 months old. Lately the picture quality hasnt been very good, looks like noise & artifacts in the picture with DVD's & in HD. Have any of you guys who purchased a power conditioner notice that it helped the picture quality of your tv's also? Its pretty anoying. Also all my connections are with component cables, could going to DVI help with this? Also I have calibrated with the DVE dvd

I can't say that I noticed a difference becaused I used a power conditioner from day one.
Make sure your video cables arn't touching a power source, did you have any major storms recently?
I have cable and use component video from exporer 4200HD to a Hitachi
57S500 and never had a problem.
See if it's the cable box try swapping it out.

It does it with dvd's also so its not a cable issue really.

Then it's the CRT probably something got zapped and now it's malfunctioning.
Since it's 6 months old try to get fixed or replace it and then use a quality surge protector for entire system.
