Replaceing driver in rmss212952

Hello, As you can see I am new to the polk site. But have had the speakers for some time. In the past I had to replace one driver #5001-3, Now I have to replace the other! And the polk folks say I need a #5001-4 Does this sound correct? Also I found A bad weld on The board with one of the ceramic componets, Could this have caused the problem? Thanks in advance, George
