I thought that but could not remember who. I'll take some time for a search and thanks.

well here's an update on an old post. i scrapped the whole idea and bought a set of lsi 15's. i am driving these with a pair of nad 2200's, one of the only stereo amplifiers i've ever seen that's rated for 4 ohms in bridged mode. i gotta tell you they sound great. i don't know that they sound as good as my sda 2's did, but it's gotta be close. anyhow what i wanted to touch base on was the nad 2200 grounding controversey. anonymouse is correct in stating that the nad 2200 inverts it's ground as per the 2200 manual. i could certainly see as how this would cause a problem with sda technonlogy. the reason i had good results driving sda 2's with this amp is that the later version of the nad 2200 (model 2200PE) does not invert the ground. you can tell if you have the later model if it says "power envelope" on the front under the nad 2200 logo, or by looking at the binding posts. on the older models the left channel binding post that is red in color is actally labeled negative and the black positive. i've never heard the older model driving sda 2's but i would think that this would certainly be problem.
