I just got my new Rti4s with a Csi3 center and R15 surrounds...watching some tv on them and it sounds like there is a constant hiss coming from all of the speakers. I didn't notice this when I had the R15s in front with my Csi3 center (was waiting for the Rti4s to come via fedex). Any ideas?

I haven't done anything different to my connections than when I had my previous speakers hooked up. I'm using the Onkyo 530 (503) receiver which is high current...sigh...

How loud is the 'hiss'. The slight 'hiss' sound is very common even with power-amps. I notice it when I put my ears directly to the speakers.

It was pretty prevalent during the quiet dialogue scenese when we were watching Saving Private Ryan last night on TNTHD. It almsost sounded like it was raining in the movie (it was not) during all of the quiet moments.

I'm more inclined to think the hiss is coming from the receiver.

Yup, that's way too loud for average 'hiss'. Do a double check on connections and try things in stereo if there are any difference. Try changing mains source and plug the reciever somewhere else.
