    i might be able to understand if this was a POS $25 dvd player. but in it's day it was probably a nice decent $300+ CDP. The guy says it's been in storage for years... hmmmm? dust or no dust.. it looks like crap.

    it's just dust. The guy just haven't have the brains or energy to wipe it down before he posts it.

    Much like the car industry. Insiders say it doesn't matter if it's filthy or clean when they bring it in to trade but it does make a difference in what you end up getting for it, whether that person admits it or not.

    Exactly! What lowlife POS would not take the time to wipe that down first. What a lazy, pathetic, disgusting individual.
    I donated an old microwave to the Salvation Army a while back and spent a half hour on it even though it was probably OK the way it was. Same with an old Christmas tree stand. Un-freakin-believable.

    It's an older model NAD CDP.

    Heres what I do...

    If the guy dosnt take the time to clean it for the photo - chances are he didnt take care of it before...

    And that for me is a huge red flag, aint no way I would buy it.

    My stuff stays virtually spotless. When I sold my BP6B to a guy on here he emailed me back and said how did I package them without getting finger prints on them -

    Take care of your stuff, simple...
