Hey guys, I have a question about speaker break-in. I have had my lsi15s for about two weeks and recently noticed some changes in the way they sounded and want disscuss it with you all.

The volume seems to be lower than it was a week ago. I find myself having to turn up my reciever to get the same volume. The highs are even smoother than they were out of the box, and the mid-to-lows are boosted and blend seemlessly with the high end. I want to say it sounds like there are no gaps in any range of the freq spectrum.

This comparison is still with my HK630 as my amp. My AQ cables are on their way. (Friday is the big day!) What have you guys noticed with speaker break-in? I'm interested to hear your thoughts.:)

LSi's do take some time to break in. I thought the LSi 9s took longer than my LSi 15s. Give them a good month of playtime before passing any critical judgement.

That's pretty much it. Better blending of the drivers, smoother overall sound. But I don't recall hearing the sound level get lower at the same volume setting.

Your system will always sound louder during the night when there is less ambient noise.
